  I've lived in SCV for 25 years.  This place is by far the worst Mexican food I have ever had in my life. I don't think you can even call it food.  I took my 8 yr old son there to grab a quick bite after the gym. Never been before but in my mind "baja fresh" like not great expectations.  It was around noon and outside hitting 95 degrees.  Walked through the door, empty inside, no air conditioning.  Starting to wonder what I just got myself into.  I ordered a two taco combination rice and beans, quesadilla for my son and a small drink ($14.58) Before I could fill my son's drink the cook tells me my order is ready. I look at my food, two soft tacos 4-5 tiny pieces of chicken (pulled out of a pre-cooked pan) and two tables spoons of rice and raw beans.  How do you f***k up beans!!!!   I asked where's my son's quesadilla.  He says " you didn't order one!"  I replied, " I just paid 15 buck for this.  Are you kidding me! How much is a quesadilla?" He says 10 bucks. Took one bite just to confirm there was no flavor and threw it right in the trash.  I never post, my second time ever. Go to Del Taco.  Sure, I could have made more of a big deal and have them remake everything.  But that's the definition of insanity (repeating with same results).

  Every thing I have ordered has been made fresh. Nothing is waiting under a heating lap while an order is pending. They use good quality meats and vegetables. My go-to order is 5 piece chicken taquito plate with rice and beans. I just love their rice and beans. It's not your box rice and canned beans, they actually put work and love into their dishes. The prices are very reasonable. For the taquito plate, it's about $9. They also give you a small side of chips. I've had their nachos, which is packed with cheese, meat, sour cream, etc. Two people can share it. They have a street taco combo deal which is 3 tacos, rice, beans and a small soda. The meat isn't full of fat and gristle like other places.
  
  Salsa bar, they have an assortment of salsas including pico de gallo, avocado salsa, etc. My favorite is their spicy orange salsa. That thing packs a punch!
  
  I like that I can place my order online through Yelp. That has been such a time saver.

  I didn't really like the food , Asada burrito didn't have no flavor, the guacamole was not good. I got the hard shell taco it was okay. The staff was friendly. They need to have the ac on it was super hot inside. Plenty of parking.
